Well I have some good news and some bad news for all the other Fringe fans out there.
It’s officially been given a 13 episode season 5! Yay! But, it’s going to be this amazing series’ FINAL season. Boo.
Fox’s Kevin Reilly says…
Fringe is a remarkably creative series that has set the bar as one of television’s most imaginative dramas. Bringing it back for a final 13 allows us to provide the climactic conclusion that its passionate and loyal fans deserve. The amazing work the producers, writers and the incredibly talented cast and crew have delivered the last four seasons has literally been out of this world. Although the end is bittersweet, it’s going to be a very exciting final chapter.
So there you go!
It’s going to be very bitter sweet to see this wonderful show move to the farm. On one hand I’m so happy to know that they’ll get to wrap up the series in a satisfying and meaningful way rather than just getting canned like it’s been threaten with for 4 years now. But on the other, I just really love this show! My wife and I watch it every week and it’s more than filled the shoes that the X-Files left oh so many moons ago. What’s even more disheartening however is, as all science fiction fans know, a good show of Fringe’s or the X-Files’ caliber is a rare rare thing for some reason. So only time will tell how long we’ll have to wait until we can get our Friday night prime-time Sci-Fi fix again.
P.S. If this doesn’t make One-Sheet FINALLY watch this show I don’t know what will. WATCH IT DUDE!
