American Horror Story, I really don’t know what to think about you.

On one hand, you look genuinely creepy. But on the other, you’re from the mind of Ryan Murphy…the creator of Glee. Back to the other hand though, this clip of the first 5 minutes of the pilot goes from me rolling my eyes when you see a cute little handicap girl telling two mean Ginger twins that they’re going to die in a creepy house, to me flat out jumping when you get to the 4:52 mark (I won’t spoil it for you, just watch).

But then I just have to wonder if you’re going to be TOO scary for the broad audience you’ll need to stay afloat.

So…I just don’t know what to think. But I am setting my TiVo to record you when you come on this Wednesday at 10pm and give you a shot. Because my doubts aside, you’ll at the very least run through the rest of October before the word “cancelled” is ever uttered. And that will make this month just a little bit more awesome.
