Honestly… when it comes to Duchamp… I guess I felt that he proved that everything in art had been done and now art was all about bullshitting an audience into buying a piece of shit that took little to no talent to make. So yes Marcel… you are soooo smart and observant… thanks for establishing the farce that is modern art.
But my favorite art is from the Renaissance, the Baroque period, and a list of comicbook artists and illustrators too long to post here… so I’m bias…
And Junk… I’m not a steak connoisseur by any means… but one of the best steaks I ever ate was made by none-other than yourself. Back in college… you made steaks for dinner on 9/11… I remember they were so good but we felt so bad enjoying them knowing what had happened just that morning.
Holy cat crap, Batman! I DO remember that! I remember feeling bad about eating it and enjoying a moment when so many people were not. I like the Baroque period too… hey, if it ain’t Baroque, don’t fix it!
