As weird as it is to defend a show that was mentioned on a podcast about a completely different show, I’m going to have to call One-Sheet out on his hatred for LOST!

How have you never made it past season 1 man? Seasons 1 through 3 are by far some of the best television of the past 10 years. Sure…the later seasons after the writers strike left a lot to be desired, and we could talk all day about the ending…but come on man, your hatred for it seems to be a bit of a half cooked ham. LOST was great.

BTW…here is an email we got last night from a listener who I think has a very good point. He sees the same problems we’ve been seeing but I think also has a very good take on how to fix things…

Jason G. writes, “In this hyper negative podcast you asked how to save the show. The comic book had it right when they proved survival brings out the worst in people. When you cant trust the man next to you that’s when the show finds its stride. The problem is we aren’t there yet. If this were the comic we would be on the road searching for food with dull problems like a missing girl. Kirkman would take one line of dialog to solve so we could move on to the cannibal hunters. (BTW I think that’s who found Sophia and they baited her away with sound. The proof is in the forest and the church. Morgan jumped Andrea in the forest.) The characters are falling in to place. T-dog will depress the group and die soon. Shane is becoming an animal. Andrea is getting tough. Carol will commit suicide when she finds what’s left of her daughter. Dale doesn’t trust Shane. Once the barn door swings open everyone will realize that no place is safe. Then Rick will step up to maintain calm and keep up hope. That is when we get to the near death mentally and physically scarring action. The only question is how much they will air on AMC and when will they actually start the show.”
